Marco & Pepe was created to bring the food, drinks and environment that you would typically find at cafés and restaurants in traditional inner city European neighbourhoods. Particularly the feel of a Tapas bar in the old historic center of Sevilla Spain, which is where my father is from.
I wanted all the pieces that make this establishment feel special and timeless.
A place that reminds me how great it is when we spend time with friends, share a bottle off wine, hang around, eat a little, talk, enjoying life.
There is a simple truth in how we put things together here. We pay respect to the process, when we buy it, the way we prepare it, the story behind it, why it was made to taste the way it does, what makes it so special, the tradition behind it.
It's here because we love it.
